About the Role:
Join ANGEL CARE HOME COMPANION SERVICES as a Nanny, where your passion for child care can make a real difference! We are dedicated to providing exceptional home companion services in Smithtown, NY, and are looking for enthusiastic individuals to support families in nurturing their children.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children of various ages.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities and educational play.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks while ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Assist with homework and provide tutoring support as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and needs.
- Transport children to and from school and extracurricular activities.
- Be a positive role model and foster a nurturing environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in child care or nannying preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Background check and references required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in child development is a plus.
