Responsibilities:
- Assist the Pharmacist In Charge with daily functions.
- Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room.
- Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications in a timely manner.
- Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
- Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
- Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
- Package fill and ship medications.
- Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
- Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
- Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
- Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
- Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification:
- H.S. diploma or equivalent.
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician a plus.
- Accurate medication and generic knowledge.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Creating a safe, effective environment.
Shifts:
- 11:00 am - 7:30 pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
- 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
