What your day looks like

You arrive to a clean, organized production floor and review the day’s job tickets for specialty label and packaging runs. You stage materials, mount tooling, and dial in a flexographic converting press. As production ramps, you watch web tension and registration, check colors and die-cuts, and adjust settings to keep quality locked in and throughput high. When a minor issue crops up, you troubleshoot quickly, perform basic maintenance, and document downtime so the team can keep learning and improving.

Role purpose

Operate and optimize flexographic converting equipment for the production of specialty labels and packaging materials, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output throughout each run.

Candidates familiar with flexographic presses, converting lines, laminators, or comparable production machinery are encouraged to apply.

What you’ll handle

• Set up and operate flexographic converting equipment for label and packaging work
• Stage substrates, inks, adhesives, and tooling to meet job specs
• Monitor machine performance; make on-the-fly adjustments to preserve quality and efficiency
• Inspect printed and converted output against specifications and standards
• Interpret work orders, job tickets, and production instructions
• Troubleshoot minor issues and complete basic preventative maintenance
• Record production data and downtime accurately
• Follow safety and quality procedures at all times
• Keep the work area orderly and ready for the next run

What you bring

• Manufacturing experience (required)
• Background in flexographic, converting, printing, or laminating equipment (preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving ability
• Comfort working in a fast-paced production setting
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the full shift
• Clear communication skills and a team-first mindset
