Narrow-Web Flexographic Press Technician

What your day looks like

Based in Brooklyn Park, MN, you’ll start your shift reviewing job tickets, dialing in inks, plates, and substrates, and bringing a narrow‑web flexographic press up to speed. As runs progress, you’ll watch registration and color, make micro-adjustments, keep impeccable records, and collaborate closely with production teammates to hit schedule and quality targets. When the bell rings on a new job, you’ll change over efficiently and keep the press performing at its best.

What you will do

• Set up and operate narrow‑web flexographic presses to deliver precise, high‑quality printed products.
• Continuously monitor run conditions to maintain color, registration, and output standards.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine mechanical maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Work cross‑functionally with production staff to meet deadlines and daily goals.
• Document production details accurately and elevate issues to leadership as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality protocols throughout each job.

Equipment you’ll run

Narrow‑web platforms including Mark Andy, Symjet, and MPS.

Where and when you’ll work

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

• 4‑crew schedule: 3 days per week. 12‑hour shifts (6:00am–6:00pm or 6:00pm–6:00am) rotating every 13 weeks from front‑of‑week to back‑of‑week (Mon/Tue/Wed for 13 weeks, then Thu/Fri/Sat for 13 weeks), plus every other Sunday as needed.
• 2nd shift: 4×10s, Monday–Thursday, 2:00pm–12:00am (midnight).

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical printing coursework preferred.
• 2+ years as a Narrow‑Web Flexo Press Operator or in a comparable press role.
• Solid knowledge of narrow‑web flexographic processes, materials, and press systems.
• Mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a quality‑first mindset.
• Clear communicator who thrives in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
