Responsibilities:
- New Project Setup (ensuring all drawings and paperwork are properly saved in electronic files)
- Document Control (downloading, saving, and issuing drawings)
- Updating Spreadsheets and Salesforce
- Maintain an intimate knowledge of the status of scheduled projects
- Follow up with various departments to ensure deadlines are met
- Following up with customers on submittals
- Data Entry/Quote Processing
- Back up support for Project Managers
- Process and track change orders
- Other duties as necessary
Qualifications:
Required
- Working accurately and efficiently under pressure
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be self-motivated, accept responsibility, and follow through
- Strong problem solving, organizational, time management and communication skills are a must
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, ability to change direction as needed and be flexible to address urgent situations
- Must be accurate and proactive in pointing out potential issues
- Team player with the ability and willingness to learn
- Extremely responsible and punctual with deadlines
- Willing to work overtime.
Preferred
- Prior clerk experience
- Knowledgeable in interpreting structural drawings and contract documents
- Salesforce knowledge
