1430015, No, 6930, 3921, 1, 0.0, 0.0, 08-Sep-2026, National Account Manager - Military/Vend/OCS, Vistar Corporate (9002), The Manager of National Accounts will perform the following duties in our Military/Vend/OCS segment:

• Manage customer relationships by developing regular communications with key customer personnel. Respond promptly to all complaints from customer and follow up to ensure problem resolution.
• Act as liaison between customer and company to work out details regarding services, products and problems.
• Attend customer functions, industry retreats, etc. in an effort to secure positive relations with customer.
• Communicate and coordinate as the primary channel of communication between headquarters and purchasing, information services, and accounting departments.
• Promote customer profitability by working with account managers to retain and grow accounts and maintain profitability. This may include, but is not limited to managing dead and slow inventory, accounts receivable/deposits, unrealistic service requests and balanced loads, etc.
• Inventory management by working with brokers and supplier reps to keep up with customer's needs. Work with purchasing to ensure products needed to serve multi-unit customers are ordered timely.
• Work cross-functionally within Vistar to coordinate product changes, requirements, etc. with purchasing and operations. Work closely with purchasing and operations to achieve goals of no dead stock, damaged goods, or out of stock items. Respond to problems with inventory as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned

• 4-6 years managing national or strategic accounts
• Experience developing multi-year growth plans
• History of retaining and growing key accounts
• Ability to travel approximately 40%, VISTAR, Sales, - Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related area
• Sales experience in Vend/OCS strongly preferred
• 6-10 years experience in successfully managing customer accounts (farming)
• National or regional/multi-unit accounts strongly preferred
• East Coast strongly preferred
• Joint Planning Experience, Colorado,
