National Accounts Manager

The purpose of the National Accounts Manager is to perform day-to-day on-site management of the Division National Accounts Team to ensure departmental performance reflects customer expectations and BEK operational guidelines.

Manage the daily responsibilities of the National Accounts team in the performance of daily tasks and responsibilities on assigned National AccountsDevelop and conduct training for National Accounts team to ensue adherence to set goals and objectivesMonitor the performance of National Accounts to ensure optimal order activity and customer satisfactionReview accounts based on Key Performance Indicators and prepare reportsPrepare daily out-of-stock reportsMonitor daily order activity to ensure performance levels are met and maintainedInteract with customers at the division level to strengthen relationships with existing clientsManage the set up and roll out of new accountsMonitor the weekly aging reports and ensure National Accounts team performs the required follow-up on these itemsManage the inventory process, including new item introduction, LTO product monitoring, and disposition of dead and excess inventoryCollaborate with the division Credit Manager to mange the Credit Memo processWork closely with the Transportation and Operations Managers to resolve transportation and other operational issuesWork with Inventory Manager to ensure resolution of inventory and quality issues

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing preferred or equivalent sales experienceAt least five to seven years of internal BEK sales experience; purchasing experience highly desiredAt least one year managing a teamGood computer skills with the ability to use standard Microsoft Office application, including Word and ExcelAbility to learn and use internal BEK applications such as KBIT and KRIS
