Purpose: The National Business Development Representative is responsible for generating qualified pipeline at the national level on behalf of Roofed Right America. This is a high-activity, outbound role focused on prospecting, qualifying, and scheduling meetings with decision-makers at commercial properties across the country. The NBDR works directly with the Supervisor - National Business Development and coordinates closely with National Account Managers to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent messaging.
The Blueprint for Success - Key Responsibilities:
- Execute high-volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, and other outreach channels to identify and engage decision-makers at target commercial accounts.
- Qualify prospects against established criteria and advance them through the pipeline by scheduling Google Meetings with National Account Managers.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity and pipeline targets as set by the Supervisor - National Business Development, including a minimum of four (4) qualified Google Meetings scheduled and held per month.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions, activity, and pipeline status in the CRM.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and one-on-ones with the Supervisor to continuously improve call structure, objection handling, and product knowledge.
- Coordinate with National Account Managers on target account lists, handoff process, and feedback on prospect quality.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the commercial roofing industry, RRA's service offerings, and our value proposition for national accounts.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor - National Business Development.

Education & Experience:
Required:
- Prior experience in an outbound sales, SDR, BDR, or telemarketing role preferred; demonstrated ability to hit activity and pipeline targets.
- Strong verbal communication skills and comfort with high-volume phone-based prospecting.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to maintain a consistent daily activity rhythm with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with prospects and internal teammates.
- High level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all internal and external interactions.
- Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems, dialers, and standard productivity tools.
Preferred:
- Commercial roofing or building services industry knowledge.
- Experience using outbound dialers and CRM platforms in a structured sales environment.
- Process oriented with a track record of consistent daily execution.
