National Sales Manager
Pay Rate: $70-90k PLUS monthly commission
Location: Coventry, RI

Shift: Standard Business Hours – Hybrid (2-3 days remote)

Job Summary:
Position Summary/Objective
The National Sales Manager will drive the promotion and sales of our Test & Measurement Data Acquisition products across a broad range of industries throughout North America. This role is responsible for achieving revenue targets by identifying and developing new business opportunities, supporting existing customers, and working closely with both direct and indirect sales channels.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales Support
  • Respond to customer inquiries by effectively communicating product capabilities and solutions
  • Consult with customers to understand application needs and recommend appropriate products
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations in-person and via web platforms
  • Qualify sales leads and route them to the appropriate Sales Representative
Sales Strategy & Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales Representatives to develop and execute winning sales strategies
  • Set and monitor sales targets for Inside Sales Engineers and indirect sales partners
  • Support GSA and channel partners with technical expertise and sales enablement
  • Analyze and consolidate forecasts from Sales Representatives; maintain accurate monthly forecasts
Channel & CRM Management
  • Identify and onboard new sales partners to strengthen channel strategy
  • Ensure CRM database is updated and maintained for accurate reporting and forecasting
  • Track and manage field demo equipment inventory
Training & Product Development
  • Deliver product training to internal and external sales teams
  • Provide technical support and assist customers with post-sale issues
  • Collaborate with product development to identify new product features and requirements
Marketing & Trade Shows
  • Contribute to the development of marketing collateral and targeted campaigns
  • Support the planning and execution of trade shows, including booth setup and product demonstrations

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or 3-5 years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree)
  • 3–5 years of technical sales, applications engineering, or relevant industry experience
  • Strong understanding of data acquisition systems or related technologies preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with CRM system (e.g., NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel as required (up to 50%)
