TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has a current opening for a National Sales Manager supporting the Heavy Transportation Division. This role has a forecasted salary range of $100,000-$120,000 per year and requires frequent travel.

Overall Purpose

National Sales Manager for Heavy Transportation is responsible for leading regional sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and overseeing a high-performing team of Regional Account Managers across North America. This role ensures alignment between commercial strategy and operational execution while expanding market share in the powersports, agriculture, on-highway truck, and construction equipment industries.

The position requires a strategic leader who can scale sales operations, strengthen key customer relationships, and identify new growth opportunities within a competitive, service-driven environment.

 

Reports To

Direct: General Manager-Heavy Transportation Indirect: Executive Vice President-Americas

 

Responsibilities

Client Relationship & Business Development

  • Develops and executes national and regional sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives

  • Drives new business development initiatives while expanding and strengthening relationships with key strategic accounts

  • Leads high-level client engagements, negotiations, and contract development

  • Ensures consistent customer engagement through structured touchpoints and governance meetings

  • Identifies market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities to expand service offerings and geographic reach

Operations

  • Collaborates with operations, quality, and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of services and high customer satisfaction

  • Oversees pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and CRM discipline across the sales organization

  • Provides regular reporting and insights to executive leadership on sales performance, market conditions, and growth opportunities

  • Leads pricing strategy, proposal development, and value-based selling approaches

Organization & Management

  • Leads, coaches, and develops a team of Regional Sales Managers to achieve and exceed revenue and performance targets

  • Establishes performance metrics, monitors KPIs, and ensures accountability across the sales organization

  • Builds and maintains a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  • Fosters cross-functional alignment between sales, marketing, and operations teams

  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent

  • Mentor team members in consultative selling, technical understanding, and customer engagement

  • Champion company values and ensure consistent customer experience across all regions

Technical

  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

  • Strong understanding of sales analytics, forecasting tools, and reporting methodologies

Work Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience, including management of key customer accounts

  • Demonstrated success leading regional or national sales teams

  • Experience in heavy transportation, manufacturing services, or quality assurance industries strongly preferred

  • Supervisory and team leadership experience required

 

 

Education Background
