Position Overview:
As HR Recruiting Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end talent acquisition function for Freight Wizards LLC, helping scale a 3PL freight brokerage aggressively in growth mode. You’ll partner directly with executive leadership to build our team across sales, operations, technology, and support functions as we expand. This is a strategic, high-visibility role where your recruiting excellence directly fuels company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and execute a comprehensive recruiting strategy aligned with company growth roadmap, scaling from our current four sales reps to multiple teams across functions
- Own full recruiting lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, offer negotiation, onboarding, and retention follow-up
- Develop deep expertise in recruiting sales talent (customer account associates, account executives, carrier sales reps) as well as operations, backend technology, and support roles
- Source candidates proactively through job boards, industry networks, referrals, social recruiting, and direct outreach
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, craft compelling job descriptions, and calibrate hiring bar
- Manage recruiting metrics and pipeline: time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality of hire, offer acceptance rate
- Support HR functions including new hire onboarding, employee documentation, and compliance
- Build and nurture talent pipelines for future roles and anticipated openings
- Represent Freight Wizards as an employer brand builder at industry events and professional networks
Qualifications:
- 5-plus years of recruiting experience, preferably including 2-plus years in a recruiting management or coordinating role
- Proven track record sourcing and closing sales talent, ideally in logistics, transportation, or B2B environments
- Strong metrics orientation: ability to own recruiting KPIs and communicate progress to leadership
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with candidates, hiring managers, and peers
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven, growth-stage environment
- Self-starter mentality with proactive problem-solving and initiative-taking
- Understanding of hiring law, employment compliance basics, and best practices a plus
What We Offer:
- Competitive base salary $65,000–95,000 dollars per year, commensurate with experience
