Natural Gas Analyst

Seeking a Natural Gas Analyst to support transportation services operations within a leading energy company. This position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and customer service skills, along with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This is an onsite role on a rotational schedule. Candidates must be available to work any assigned shift, including weekends and holidays. Schedules are provided months in advance, and shift swaps may be accommodated when needed. Overtime is available but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process natural gas nominations in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Perform daily nomination, confirmation, scheduling, and capacity allocation activities within required transportation timelines.

• Accurately manage processes across multiple electronic bulletin boards (EBBs).

• Serve as a point of contact for external customers regarding transportation-related inquiries.

• Communicate with interconnecting pipeline representatives to identify and resolve pipeline discrepancies.

• Collaborate with internal teams including Operations, Accounting, Marketing, and IT.

• Perform testing of proprietary EBB applications as needed.

• Conduct data analysis and data entry while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

• Participate in peer training, knowledge sharing, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, accountability, and commitment to team success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.

• 0 2 years of professional experience.

• Ability to perform data analysis, data entry, and problem-solving activities.

• Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and draw conclusions.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to establish rapport, communicate persuasively, negotiate solutions, and provide excellent customer service.

• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and consistently able to produce high-quality work.

• Ability to work onsite on a rotating schedule, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Schedule

• Rotational schedule with shifts assigned months in advance.

• Weekday shifts: 8:30 AM 4:30 PM and 3:00 PM 11:00 PM.

• Weekend shifts: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, 2:00 PM 10:00 PM, and 3:00 PM 11:00 PM.
