The Program Manager leads the planning, coordination, and execution of gas service. This role serves as the operational bridge
between field operations, engineering, regulatory affairs, and executive leadership — ensuring that gas service
programs are delivered safely, in compliance with state and federal requirements, on schedule, and within budget.
The Program Manager drives cross-functional coordination on system reliability, damage prevention, infrastructure
replacement, and emergency response programs, and serves as a key point of accountability for program
performance and reporting.
Education Experience
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within natural gas utility, pipeline, or
utility infrastructure operations.
• Experience working with regulatory bodies such as a state Public Utilities Commission and/or PHMSA is strongly
preferred.
Certifications Licenses
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred, not required.
• Valid driver's license required, given statewide travel requirements.
• Operator Qualification (OQ) certifications a plus, or willingness to obtain.
Knowledge, Skills Abilities
• Working knowledge of natural gas distribution systems, pipeline safety regulations, and utility operations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent programs across a wide geographic area
