cFocus Software seeks a Acquisition Manager to join our program supporting the United States Navy (DON). This position is on site in the San Diego, CA area. This position requires a Secret clearance.
Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Acquisition Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 – 7+ years of relevant acquisition, program management, or business management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of DoD and Navy acquisition processes and governance.
  • Understanding of FAR, DFARS, and DoD 5000-series guidance.
  • Experience developing acquisition documentation and reports.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and acquisition management tools

Duties:
  • Prepare, review, and support test plans, Test Readiness Review briefings, and test events.
  • Develop, track, and maintain acquisition documentation and program records.
  • Support ICDs, CDDs, CPDs, Acquisition Strategies, AAPs, APBs, ADMs, PDDs, AoAs, PoPS, SARs, and DAES reporting.
  • Apply DoD and DoN acquisition best practices and Adaptive Acquisition Framework pathways.
  • Monitor APB cost and schedule thresholds and notify leadership of variances and risks.
  • Provide acquisition analyses, recommendations, and executive-level briefings.
  • Assess statutory, regulatory, and policy impacts to acquisition programs.
  • Recommend updates to acquisition policies, guidance, and directives.
  • Support acquisition governance reviews and milestone decision processes.
  • Provide training on acquisition tools, systems, and processes.
  • Coordinate with program managers, engineers, contracting personnel, and Government stakeholders.
