NC ASSEMBLER TRAINEE

Job Summary:

Assembles prepared panels according to ticket using a variety of hand tools.

Essential Functions:

• Review work ticket and drawings to make sure all instructions and specifications are met
• Dry fits test door from order to ensure specifications are met
• Assemble doors using staples, pins, or nails according to ticket specification
• Checks each door for squareness and accurateness
• Performs quality checks on doors
• Places door on conveyor for inspection.
• Keeps area clean and organized
• Other related duties as required

Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED; one year related experience and/or training
• Ability to print and speak simple words in English.
• Ability to work well within a diverse team environment
• Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure

Physical Requirements:

Repetitive handling, grasping, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods.
