Keltia is a technical support services company providing Engineering Design, CAD Training along with Specialized Technical Recruiting services to mainly the aerospace and other industries in WA State, around the US, Canada and Europe. We have been in business for 19 years in the US and 7 years in Europe.
Our client, a medium sized aerospace company in the Everett, WA area is looking for several NC Machinists responsible for providing manufacturing & support to their engineering department.

Responsibilities:
- The role of Machine Operator / Programmer requires an experienced flexible and innovative person to work in a modern highly equipped facility.
- You will be required to machine precision components, manufacture fit to very tight tolerances as per engineering drawings and cad models supplied.
- You will be required to work on your own initiative unsupervised to meet project deadlines.
- Work with in-house designers and end customers to discuss any issues during project duration and follow up on any de-bug / modifications that may arise.
- Design work holdings
- Program machine, machine parts, check and verify
- Create set-up sheet for jobs.
- Work in a team environment and share information.
What you need to succeed:
- Engineering qualification
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience at rapid programming of CNC milling machines
- CAM experience preferably in SolidCAM or Hypermill an advantage
- Good practical and technical skills
- Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy
- Good IT skills i.e. Microsoft word/Excel
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Good concentration level
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC Programming of Milling & Turning machines.
- Experience in Aerospace industry is preferable
- Experience in CAD/CAM packages either SolidCAM/ Hypermill / Catia or MasterCAM is desirable.
