Introduction
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer. This role is 100% onsite and requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in NC programming and aerospace manufacturing processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience programming three, four, and five axes mills.
Proficiency in using NX programming software.
Experience machining aluminum aerospace parts.
Experience creating workholding fixtures and selecting cutting tools for machining aerospace components.
Prior work experience in the aerospace industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
2-4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the aerospace industry.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Create NC programs for aerospace components using NX CAM.
Plan and design manufacturing processes in an industrial plant.
Maximize efficiency by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.
Determine parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
