About our Counselors
NCE counselors are responsible for supervising and guiding children, ages 5-14, under the direction of their class instructors or coaches with activities such as arts, crafts, sports, games, and STEM. They are passionate about kids' experiences at camp; organized, flexible and able to problem-solve; calm under pressure; able to keep children emotionally and physically safe; effective communicators with adults, fellow counselors and campers; hard working; and have experience working with children. Counselors are ultimately supervised by the Enrichment or Full Day Sports Camp Director.

Pay Rate:
$15-19/hour, based on experience and skill set
Typical daily camp hours: 8:15-3:45 pm. Counselors are paid based on attendance. If you are unable to work, you will not be paid for the day. You will be paid for breaks and lunch. The final hourly rate will be communicated by the Summer Program Coordinator
