Join our team and discover why we are atop veteran employer and Certified Great Place to WorkASRC Federal is seeking a NDE Quality Inspector Senior at Kennedy Space Center FL.Job DescriptionNon-Destructive Test NDTQuality Control QC inspector supporting the Orion manned space flight program in the Neil Armstrong Operations and Checkout Facility at Kennedy Space Center Florida. The program is a fast-paced Manufacturing and Assembly Test & Launch OperationsATLOenvironment.Inspectors will work with experienced Quality EngineeringQEand NDT inspection teams collaborating with engineering and manufacturing support functions to ensure that product quality and acceptance requirements are met.Thisposition primarily performs nondestructive evaluation providing results and defect analysisincoordination with otherOrion ATLOoperational and engineering groups.This positionprefersinspectors with prior NAS410 Level 2 or 3 certificationsin multiple methods.Inspectorsduties includecomprehensive interpretation and application oftechnical procedures & working instructions providing written reports of acceptancerejectionevaluation results of Orion Space Systems hardware to various engineering support groups. Inspectors also review andor approve inspection records for adequacy and compliance to procedures and quality standards.Allinspectorsmust be able to workeffectively in a team environment orindependentlyas required. Inspectorswill be expected to support program inspections during off-shiftsand on shortnotice to support ATLO program needs and schedules.Inspectors also investigateinstances of nonconforming materialsfacilitate the determination of root cause correctivepreventative actions and provide recommendation of disposition for Material Review Board MRB action.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent experiencecombined education with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree andor demonstrated ability to perform assigned technicalpara-engineering tasks and 3 year experience.Prior Aerospace experience with NAS410 or equivalent Level 2 or 3 certification in at least three of the following methods Computed Radiography CR.
