    Description

    MAU is hiring an Ultrasonic NDT Technician (Level II) for our client in Covington, GA. As an Ultrasonic NDT Technician (Level II), you will execute the companys internal ultrasonic testing program by performing inspections, evaluating materials, documenting results, and supporting quality operations. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

    Shift Information

    • Full-time
    • Monday-Friday
    • 8-hour shift (approximately 7:00 AM-4:00 PM)
    • Overtime may be required
    • Occasional weekend work
    • Target start date: ASAP

    Required Education and Experience

    • High school diploma with relevant industry experience
    • NAS 410 Level II accreditation for immersion ultrasonic inspection
    • NDT Level II certification
    • Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and contractual documents governing inspection methods
    • Basic knowledge of product manufacturing and inspection technology

    Preferred Education and Experience

    • Associates degree in a technical discipline

    General Requirements

    • Ability to set up and standardize ultrasonic testing equipment
    • Ability to interpret inspection results and determine product acceptance or rejection
    • Thorough understanding of the scope and limitations of ultrasonic testing methods
    • Ability to develop work instructions from approved general procedures, when specified by written practice, for Responsible Level III approval
    • Ability to conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable procedures
    • Ability to provide guidance and supervision to trainees and Level I personnel
    • Must be able to work in an ITAR facility (U.S. Person requirement)
    • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
    • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and occasional travel as needed

    Essential Functions

    • Execute the day-to-day activities of the internal ultrasonic testing program.
    • Collaborate with Production and Quality departments to support inspection activities.
    • Set up and standardize ultrasonic testing equipment.
    • Process products using ultrasonic inspection methods.
    • Interpret inspection results and evaluate products for acceptance or rejection.
    • Document inspection findings and test results.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of the scope and limitations of ultrasonic testing techniques.
    • Perform system performance checks in accordance with applicable procedures.
    • Provide guidance and supervision to trainees and Level I personnel.
    • Support the continued development of the internal ultrasonic testing program.
