Job Details

We are seeking NDT Operators to perform non-destructive testing and inspection of industrial materials and products. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to build or expand their career in NDT.

Candidates with different levels of NDT experience will be considered, including those with NDT/NDE education or hands-on laboratory experience, candidates with some practical NDT experience who have not yet obtained certifications, and candidates with previous NDT/NDE work experience.

NDT certifications are not required at hire. Candidates with certifications are welcome, and company-provided training and recertification will be provided as needed on company-specific equipment, procedures, and inspection methods.

This is a hands-on position for someone with strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and follow established inspection procedures in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Schedule & Compensation
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM — 2 openings
2nd Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM — 5 openings
Schedule: 5 days per week / 12-hour shifts
Pay: $20–$24/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
2nd Shift Differential: +$1.50/hour
Overtime: Paid after 8 hours worked
Training: Approximately 1 month on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift for 2nd-shift hires

Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor NDT inspection equipment, including Electromagnetic Inspection (EMI), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Magnetic Particle (MT/MPI) equipment.
Set up and perform inspections according to established procedures and quality standards.
Identify and evaluate material irregularities, including cracks, corrosion, discontinuities, and wall-thickness variations.
Perform manual UT prove-up inspections to verify and document material indications when required.
Accurately record inspection results, test data, and daily inspection information.
Mark, identify, and sort materials based on inspection results.
Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
Follow established safety, quality, and inspection procedures.

Qualifications
Previous NDT/NDE experience, education, or hands-on laboratory experience preferred.
Candidates with varying levels of experience will be considered.
NDT/NDE certifications are not required at hire.
Hands-on experience, training, or laboratory exposure with one or more NDT methods, including:
- Electromagnetic Inspection (EMI)
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT/MPI)
- Other relevant NDT/NDE methods
Candidates with relevant technical, manufacturing, inspection, welding, materials, or mechanical experience who are interested in developing NDT skills are encouraged to apply.
Ability to learn and follow technical inspection procedures.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read and follow technical procedures.
Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
Ability to work extended 12-hour shifts.

Training & Development
Approximately 1 month of training on 1st shift before transitioning to the assigned shift, as applicable.
Company-provided training and recertification as needed.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to safely lift and handle materials as required.
