Job Summary
The purpose of the Neckline/Fingerboard CNC Operator is to take radius cut fingerboards and mill precise inlay routings that prepare the components to be assembled into the final product. Inlay routing is where the fingerboards are cut to accept the inlays. Team members are required to have great attention to detail and intimate knowledge of the different models and machine programs. This is where a fingerboard begins to take on the characteristics that determine what model it will be and is a vital process in the creation of a guitar that is both beautiful and unique.
