As a Dish Room Utility, you'll play a key role in supporting daily meal services by ensuring cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the dining area. You'll work closely with our food service team to maintain high standards of sanitation and sanitation and provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
As a Dish Room Utility, you will be responsible for:
Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, utensils, glassware, trays, and kitchen equipment to meet hygiene standards.
Ensuring an adequate supply of dishes, silverware, and service items before, during, and after meal periods.
Operating dishwashing equipment safely and recording machine temperatures during meals.
Assisting with the proper disposal and separation of waste materials, including trash, compost, and recyclables, following all safety guidelines.
Supporting kitchen and dining area cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, wiping, and other sanitation tasks.
Helping with the storage and handling of incoming food and cleaning supplies, as needed.
Reporting any broken equipment, safety hazards, or chemical needs to the supervisor promptly.
Assisting with front-of-house duties or other tasks as time permits, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
A high school diploma or GED preferred.
At least one year of experience in food service, housekeeping, or a related role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of sanitation procedures and equipment care.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing stairs.
Reliable, punctual, and dedicated with a strong work ethic.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain top-tier cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including some early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in Exeter, NH, with a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
