MELINIO TRANSIT is seeking Independent Operators and small business-minded transportation professionals in the Austin area who want to grow with a professional NEMT platform. This opportunity is designed for individuals who want more than a traditional driving job and are interested in building their own transportation business while serving the community.
As an Independent Operator, you will provide non-emergency medical transportation for passengers with mobility needs, safely transport riders to medical appointments and approved destinations, assist with wheelchairs and mobility devices, operate wheelchair-accessible vehicles, and deliver dependable, professional service.
Requirements
Must be 23 years of age or older
Must have an active LLC or be willing to form one within 45 days. Guidance and support are available during setup.
Must have a valid Texas driver's license
Must have a minimum of 5 years of driving experience
Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Must be comfortable assisting passengers with wheelchairs, walkers, and mobility devices
Previous experience in NEMT, paratransit, caregiving, delivery, or professional driving is preferred
