Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our RN Flights - Neonate, you will apply the nursing process to alleviate human suffering and enhance quality of life by combining excellent medical care with appropriate and safe transportation for NICU patients in flight settings.
Every day you will provide direct specialized patient care during neonatal transport, make critical medical decisions tailored to NICU patients, and collaborate with your team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes. You will also extend hospital resources into the community and actively participate in professional growth and regional education.
To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with strong critical care nursing skills specializing in neonatology, expertise in flight transport, and the ability to work independently in high-stress environments.
We are offering up to $8,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements
Job Requirements
Required
Associate's Degree in Nursing Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current state RN license/ Current RN license from a participating state in National Licensure Compact
Three (3) years in Level III/IV NICU experience
Certified Neonatal Pediatric Transport required upon hire or within two (2) years of hire/transfer
Valid driver's license and ability to pass the annual review of driving record for safe vehicle operations
Must maintain current on all certifications required by Commission for Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Five (5) years combined NICU years
