Job Title: RN – Level III NICU Location: Oakland, CA Contract: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days & Nights (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience to provide high-quality, patient-centered neonatal care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in caring for critically ill newborns in a fast-paced NICU environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patients and families. Key Responsibilities Deliver specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards Support and educate families throughout the patient care journey Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent RN experience within the last 3 years Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided Current certifications required: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) AWHONN PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Recent Level III NICU experience required Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field preferred Seven (7) years of recent Level III NICU experience within the last 10 years preferred
