    Overview:

    Neonatal Nurse Practitioner – Full-Time

Our Level II–III NICU is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled, confident, and collaborative Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join a team that truly works together. FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a private, community-based healthcare system headquartered in the resort destination of Pinehurst, NC.     Position Highlights:
    • Choose your lifestyle: 12‑ or 24‑hour shifts.
    • Level III, 13-bed NICU with over 3,000 deliveries (225 NICU admits per year).
    • High‑acuity variety: from newborn rounding to delivery attendance to hands‑on stabilization.
    • Real responsibility: lead neonatal resuscitation, manage critical infants, and coordinate transports to and from regional nurseries.
    • Work with the best: neonatologists, OB hospitalists, and MFM specialists.
    • 1 Neonatologist and 1 NNP per shift, manageable census.

    Qualifications:
    • NNP‑BC certification and state licensure.
    • Minimum 3 years of NNP experience in a Level III/IV NICU.
    • Calm under pressure, strong communicator, team‑first mindset.
    • Able to practice independently covering the newborn service.
    • Clean background, NC licensure and NRP certification required.
