Exciting Per Diem NNP opportunity to join Pediatrix Medical Group at United Regional Healthcare System in Wichita Falls!

Responsibilities

United Regional Hospital is a prominent healthcare institution serving Wichita Falls, TX, and the surrounding communities. Its recognized for its commitment to healthcare excellence and serves as a vital healthcare resource for the Wichita Falls community and surrounding areas. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of medical services, including emergency care, surgical procedures, maternity and pediatric care, cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, neurology, and more. As a Level II Special Care Nursery designated facility, United Regional is able to provide care for infants with a 30-week or longer gestational age and a birth weight of greater than 1,250 grams who have physiologic immaturity, or who have problems that are expected to resolve rapidly and are not anticipated to require sub-specialty services on an urgent basis. In the Special Care Nursery, we collaborate with trained pediatricians, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation services and neonatal nutritionists to care for infants so that they can remain in our community without separation from their moms and dads while they receive the specialized care they need. Neonatologist covers level II NICU and newborn nursery Hospital in partnership with Pediatrix working towards level III NICU designation Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns in the level II NICU Enjoy a supportive work environment and access to advanced technology in the state-of-the-art NICU facility Provide family-centered care and support parents during their newborns NICU stay, fostering strong communication and collaboration Opportunity to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in clinical research projects aimed at advancing neonatal care 24-hour in-house shifts

Qualifications

Current APRN national specialty certification Minimum of a masters degree Active TX or Compact state license required
