We Are Hiring:

Location: Racine, WI 

Facility Name: Ascension All Saints Hospital

Schedule: PRN | Rotating Shift 

Malpractice coverage with tail

What You Will Do:

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension All Saints Hospital to provide care for 22 weeks plus infants. 

  • Collaborative team based approach between Neonatologists
  • Always a neonatologist available within 30 minutes. 
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to develop, coordinate, and navigate patient care plans.
  • Assist in or provide direct support during patient deliveries
  • Conduct specialized consultations and provide guidance to mothers
  • Provide specialized, comprehensive care for premature infants

About the Facility

  • Well established Level III NICU facility
  • Approximately 1300 births a year. 
  • Average daily census of 5-8 infants. (Gets about 10% of hospital births)
  • The NICU has seasoned nurses with 40 years of experience.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred. 

Education:

  • Master's degree of Nursing required.
Additional Preferences:

Experienced preferred. 

Ability to resuscitate infants, intubate, umbilical lines, and manage a ventilator/oscillator. Chest tubes.

Ability to keep calm under pressure, work independently, problem solve, and think on your feet.
