    Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital - a 486-bed facility and cornerstone of the Carondelet Health Network - is seeking a Neonatologist to join its expanding Women & Newborn Center in Tucson, Arizona. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the trajectory of a growing Level II NICU with a clear path toward Level III designation. You'll practice within a collegial, mission-driven environment backed by experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and a dedicated nursing team committed to family-centered care.     Position Highlights

    • Neonatology position at Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital, part of the Carondelet Health Network
    • Enhanced Sign-On Bonus
    • Per Diem travelers considered
    • Level II NICU with plans to advance to Level III designation
    • Average daily census of 5
    • On-site physician coverage 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.; NNP coverage 2 p.m. - 8 a.m. with physician call-in (30-minute response time)
    • Full-time schedule with equitable call rotation
    • Supported by hospital-based Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and a dedicated NICU nursing team
    • Practice within a modern Women & Newborn Center featuring spacious birthing suites, midwife-assisted deliveries, and couplet care

    Candidate Requirements

    • M.D. or D.O. degree
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
    • Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain

    Organization Description

    Established in 1961, St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson is home to the Carondelet Neurological Institute and the Carondelet Joint Replacement Center. The hospital offers advanced care that includes a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center and spacious and comfortable labor and delivery units.
