Practice Details

  • Practice setting: Work alongside an experienced Nephrologist, a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider, and additional support staff
  • Growth opportunity: Drive robust practice growth by providing nephrology care while supporting broader internal medicine needs for patients with overlapping conditions
  • Clinic leadership: Lead our outpatient Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) and Home Hemodialysis (HHD) clinics
  • Comprehensive support: Full support from vascular surgery, behavioral health, dieticians, and trained dialysis nursing staff
  • Service expansion: Help expand our CKD walk-in clinic and potentially develop a new hypertension clinic
  • Practice conveniently located just 3 blocks from hospital 
  • Dialysis unit in QMG outpatient surgery center and hospital (hospital not affiliated with QMG)
  • Schedule: 4.5 day workweek; current Nephrologist does hospital rounds in the morning and sees patients in the clinic in the afternoon
  • Call: Will be shared with current Nephrologist and Advanced Practice Provider with a dedicated hospital group for backup, allowing focus on outpatient care
  • Average Volumes:
    • 86 dialysis
    • 27 PD patients
    • 4 home hemo & growing
    • 5-6 inpatient 
    • 15 patients per day in clinic
  • Epic EMR
  • Onsite Imaging Center offers a full range of diagnostic services conveniently located under one roof:
    • CT 
    • MRI 
    • EKG 
    • Nuclear Medicine
    • X-Ray
    • Ultrasound
    • Bone Density Testing 
    • Mammography

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $350,000-$450,000, depending upon your qualifications and experience. In addition to the base compensation, this position may also be eligible for a productivity bonus, sign-on bonus, loan repayment assistance, residency stipend, and relocation bonus, equaling a total target cash compensation that may be between $400,000 - $700,000.

 

 

Requirements
  • MD or DO
  • Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified (ABMS or AOA)
  • Illinois licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in Illinois
