Role Overview:
A large public sector IT organization is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to support enterprise application development and data collection/reporting tools. The role focuses on advancing DevOps initiatives, automating pipelines, and delivering secure, high-quality technical solutions. This position requires standard business-hour availability Monday through Friday, with on-site presence strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable DevOps processes for enterprise-level application development and deployment
Lead automation, CI/CD, and cloud technology initiatives, including centralizing code repositories
Enhance coding practices through automated scanning tools to uphold code quality and security standards
Optimize code branching, merging, and release processes for efficient deployments
Improve unit and integration test coverage for application reliability
Required Skills & Experience:
C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core development (8+ years)
Security practices: secure coding, static code analysis, data protection/encryption (8+ years)
Azure DevOps, GIT, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, CI/CD (5+ years)
TSQL language skills with MS SQL (8+ years)
Automated testing, documentation, Test Driven Development, gating deployments (5+ years)
Preferred Skills:
Code quality and security scanning tools (4+ years)
Code branching, merging, and release process optimization (5+ years)
