Position Summary
We are seeking a Network Administrator to support, maintain, and continuously improve a large scale enterprise networking environment across campus, branch, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of core network services while supporting modernization, automation, and Zero Trust initiatives.
The Network Administrator will provide operational support for enterprise networking technologies including routing, switching, wireless, SD WAN, VPN, DNS, and DHCP services. Working closely with Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Cloud Operations, and Service Desk teams, this individual will help deliver highly available and secure network solutions while contributing to infrastructure improvements and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Tier I and Tier II support for enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and Internet connectivity services
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network performance, availability, and reliability issues across enterprise environments
Install, configure, maintain, and support Cisco networking infrastructure including Catalyst switches, wireless controllers, and Meraki solutions
Execute network refresh projects, hardware replacements, software upgrades, and lifecycle management activities
Maintain network configurations, VLANs, routing protocols, wireless infrastructure, and IP address management systems
Support firewalls, network access control solutions, secure remote access technologies, and network segmentation initiatives
Partner with cybersecurity teams on vulnerability remediation, incident response, and infrastructure hardening efforts
Utilize monitoring and observability platforms to proactively identify, analyze, and resolve network issues
Analyze packet captures, NetFlow data, latency trends, and application performance metrics to optimize network performance
Support network automation initiatives utilizing Ansible, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, and Git based workflows
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and operating procedures
Participate in project implementations, maintenance windows, and on call support rotations
Key Requirements
4 to 5 years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure and network operations
Experience supporting Cisco enterprise networking environments including switching, routing, wireless, and Meraki technologies
Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and network performance optimization experience
Experience with enterprise ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow
Experience supporting SD WAN technologies and enterprise VPN connectivity
Experience with cloud networking environments including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
Experience with network monitoring and observability tools such as SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, ThousandEyes, or similar platforms
Experience using network diagnostic and analysis tools including Wireshark and NetFlow
Knowledge of network automation technologies including Ansible, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, and Git workflows
Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture, SASE, Secure Service Edge, and modern network security principles
Preferred certifications include CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or other advanced Cisco certifications
Strong communication, customer service, collaboration, and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently while effectively partnering with cross functional technical teams
Willingness to participate in after hours maintenance activities and on call support rotations
Work Environment
Hybrid or remote work environment based on business needs
Standard business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Minimal travel requirements
Availability to support scheduled maintenance windows, evenings, weekends, and on call rotations as needed
