    Description

    Job Title: Network Administrator
    Working Title: Network Administrator
    Location: 1201 Brazos Street, Austin, TX 78701 (Onsite)
    Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time
    Job Type: Full-Time, Contract


    Key Responsibilities:
    • Administer and manage Windows Server (2012 or later) within an Active Directory domain.
    • Manage Microsoft 365: user provisioning, mailbox management, Teams, SharePoint.
    • Configure and support TCP/IP core services: LDAP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP.
    • Manage ACLs, GPOs, file/print services, automation tools.
    • Provide support for VoIP systems and imaging/document management platforms.
    • Install, configure, maintain Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs.
    • Administer Meraki wireless infrastructure and telecom systems.
    • Monitor network health using PRTG, MRGT, and ManageEngine.
    • Perform hardware/software updates and upgrades.
    • Prepare documentation for compliance, audits, and internal reporting.
    • Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning.
    • Implement and maintain network security measures.
    • Deliver user training and technical support on network systems.
    • Evaluate new technologies and assess risks/benefits.

    Required Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of experience in network administration or support roles.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft server environments, Microsoft 365, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
    • Hands-on experience with Cisco/Meraki equipment and VoIP systems.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • 3+ years experience in:
      • Supporting compliance-driven IT environments.
      • Managing Windows Server 2012+ in Active Directory.
      • Maintaining Microsoft 365 (accounts, mailboxes, Teams, SharePoint).
      • Configuring TCP/IP services: LDAP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP.
      • Virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
      • Administering Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs.
      • Supporting LAN/WAN, wireless access points, telecom systems.
      • Managing Meraki wireless infrastructure.
      • Network monitoring tools: PRTG, MRGT, ManageEngine.
      • Performing proactive system maintenance and troubleshooting.
      • Documentation and reporting for audits and compliance.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Strong troubleshooting and network monitoring skills.
    • Understanding of network operating systems and security practices.
    • Ability to analyze support data and prepare actionable reports.
    • Familiarity with imaging systems and telecom technologies.
    • Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
