SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Network Administrator for a on-site opportunity in Cayce, SC. The Candidate will support enterprise network infrastructure and identity management services for a large public-sector organization undergoing significant technology modernization initiatives. This role will focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing network connectivity, secure authentication platforms, and SD-WAN environments while collaborating with technical teams to ensure reliable and secure operations.

Required Qualifications for the Network Administrator:
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure and LAN environments.
  • 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network switches and wireless access points.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting SD-WAN, PKI, and secure authentication technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues on Windows-based systems and mobile devices.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and interpreting network documentation, diagrams, and technical procedures.
  • Strong understanding of network operations, infrastructure support, and enterprise connectivity solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various office locations as needed.
Preferred Skills/Experience of the Network Administrator:
  • Current or previous industry certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, or equivalent.
  • Cisco Networking Academy completion or similar networking training program.
  • Experience supporting identity and access management initiatives.
  • Familiarity with certificate-based authentication and enterprise security best practices.
  • Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments.
Responsibilities of the Network Administrator:
  • Support, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, authentication services, and secure access solutions.
  • Assist with deployment, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of SD-WAN, PKI, and identity-related technologies.
  • Resolve network connectivity issues affecting desktop, laptop, and mobile device users while managing assigned service tickets.
  • Create and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and support teams to implement solutions and support ongoing technology initiatives.
  • Provide project status updates, participate in testing and validation activities, and ensure adherence to established IT standards and change management processes.
Work Location: Fully onsite in Cayce, South Carolina. Candidates must reside within the Eastern Time Zone and be willing to relocate to South Carolina prior to the start date if not currently local. Occasional travel to locations throughout South Carolina may be required.
