  • Support and maintain network security configurations, including firewalls, ACLs, and VPN tunnels
  • Assist with network upgrades, hardware replacements, and system implementations
  • Monitor network performance and capacity
  • Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
  • Support cloud and hybrid connectivity, including VPNs and basic cloud networking components (Azure preferred)
  • Assist in maintaining and supporting VoIP infrastructure
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution and service delivery
  • Participate in on-call rotation or after-hours support as needed

  • Hands-on experience supporting Cisco routing and switching environments
  • Experience working in a production enterprise environment

Skills And Technical Expertise

  • Strong working knowledge of switching concepts (VLANs, STP, trunking, EtherChannel, QoS)
  • Practical experience with routing protocols such as OSPF and EIGRP (BGP exposure is a plus)
  • Experience configuring and supporting network security technologies (ACLs, NAT/PAT, IPSec VPNs)
  • Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst environments (Nexus exposure is a plus)
  • Understanding of core network services such as DNS and DHCP
  • Familiarity with cloud and hybrid networking concepts, particularly in Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Familiarity with RADIUS / AAA for authentication is a plus
  • Exposure to VoIP systems (e.g., RingCentral) is a plus

Soft Skills & Work Style
