We are seeking an IT / OT Network Administrator to join our Corporate IT Infrastructure team in Houston. This role supports and secures converged IT and Operational Technology (OT) networks that enable 24/7 midstream operations, including onshore pipelines, terminals, and offshore platforms in the Gulf of America. The position reports to Corporate IT and works closely with Pipeline Operations, Control Room, Engineering, and Automation teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, monitor, and support IT and OT network infrastructure across corporate offices, field sites, and offshore platforms.
  • Maintain highly available networks supporting SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, custody transfer measurement, and safety systems.
  • Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, WiFi, and related network equipment.
  • Enforce OT network segmentation and security in alignment with IEC 62443 / ISA‑99, Purdue Model, and TSA Pipeline Security Directives.
  • Support IT/OT DMZ and jump-host architectures.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, perform firmware/software updates, and maintain documentation.
  • Participate in audits, compliance activities, and security incident response.
  • Provide 24/7 on‑call support, including emergency response and scheduled maintenance.
  • Travel to regional field locations and offshore sites as required.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience administering IT and/or OT networks, including firewalls and security.
  • Strong knowledge of Ethernet switching, TCP/IP, routing, DHCP, DNS, and Cisco networking.
  • Willingness to travel (including offshore by helicopter).
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC card and meet DOT/PHMSA drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in oil & gas, midstream, or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Familiarity with OT security/monitoring tools (e.g., Dragos, Claroty, Nozomi, SolarWinds).
  • Experience with industrial automation vendors (Rockwell, Schneider, Emerson, ABB).
  • VMware or systems administration experience.
  • Network or security certifications (Network+, GICSP, etc.).
  • Knowledge of API 1164, NIST CSF, and TSA pipeline security guidelines.

Onsite role in downtown Houston.

Travel up to ~30%, including offshore support.
