Qualifications
2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.
Candidate must meet ONE of the following:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering; OR
Relevant DoD/military training (examples: 4C‑255N (CP); 4‑11‑C22 (CP); 4‑11‑C23; 102‑25S30‑C45 (NS); Network Operations Specialist (Intermediate) Playlist; DISA (441) Training); OR
Relevant professional certification or equivalent experience (examples: CEH; CompTIA Cloud+; GCIH; GICSP; GSEC; Security+; SSCP).
Required experience and skills:
Network engineering/administration or NOC operations experience supporting enterprise or DoD environments.
Hands‑on experience with routing/switching, firewall/VPN configuration, VoIP system administration, DNS, and virtualization platforms.
Practical knowledge of STIG application, patching cycles, vulnerability scanning (ACAS/Nessus), and RMF evidence practices.
Proficiency with monitoring/SIEM tools, ticketing systems, network automation/ scripting (PowerShell/Python), and configuration management.
Ability to troubleshoot complex cross‑domain incidents, coordinate escalations, and produce operational documentation and runbooks.
Desired:
Prior DoD/ARNG/NETCOM/NOC experience supporting multi‑domain (NIPR/SIPR/cloud) networks.
Experience with SD‑WAN, WAN optimization, automated provisioning, and large‑scale site implementations.
Familiarity with COOP/DR planning for network services and mastery of network performance tuning and capacity planning.

Target Salary Range
$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
