Job DescriptionWe are responding to an RFP for Network Support Services. The client is looking for a resource to provide advanced Network support services to augment existing staff for project work and day-to-day tasks as needed. The contract has the potential to have a 4 year term.Responsibilities Expert knowledge of Cisco hardware (switches, routers) and IOS Expert knowledge of Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall Expert knowledge of Cisco Client Expert knowledge in networking technologies such as wireless, MPLS, Private IP, TLS SIP Ability to create and maintain highly detailed infrastructure documentation including systems diagrams and architectural assessments for support, audit, compliance and disaster recovery purposes Ability to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and thought leader for other members of the IT team Knowledge of Data Center technologies including storage FC, FCIP, virtualization (VMWare), Nexus, and Ciscos Unified Computing System (UCS) Ability to support and/or lead proof-of-concept effortsRequired Qualifications Cisco certifications are required. Minimum of 5 years experience with Palo Alto NGFW. Minimum of 10 years network engineering experience. Must align with client standard business hours between 8AM-5PM Monday Friday Eastern Time Must be available for on-call rotation for after-hours support
