Network Administrator<\/b>

This is a full -time on -site position (no remote or hybrid work).

Education & Experience Requirement<\/b>
<\/p>

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Mathematics is required
    <\/li>
  • A bachelor's degree with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science may be substituted in lieu of the computer science degree, depending on other qualifications and experience
    <\/li>
  • Experience with NAS facilities, systems, and equipment is highly desirable
    <\/li>
  • Six (6) to nine (9) years of related work experience
    <\/li><\/ul>

      Essential Daily Job Duties<\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Provide 2nd Level Engineering support for RMLS
        <\/li>
      • Maintain, configure, and improve network hardware (servers, routers, switches) in mixed Linux/Windows environments
        <\/li>
      • Manage and support Firewall, Load balancer configuration
        <\/li>
      • Upgrade and repair computer networks
        <\/li>
      • Deploy and update software
        <\/li>
      • Manage servers and their operating systems
        <\/li>
      • Implement security measures
        <\/li>
      • Develop/execute test processes and procedures
        <\/li>
      • Manage cloud and physical network storage
        <\/li>
      • Create and update network -related documentation
        <\/li>
      • Troubleshoot network issues
        <\/li>
      • RMLS Field Support 24x7 as needed
        <\/li>
      • Perform software configuration management; identify, analyze, and determine solutions for computer software problems
        <\/li>
      • Gather requirements and support computer software solution design, development, integration, and testing
        <\/li>
      • Collect, record, and analyze data/information; write technical/management reports
        <\/li>
      • Perform computer software investigation and inspection activities; recommend improvements to the design or operation of systems, equipment, or processes
        <\/li>
      • Provide SME technical support for new system acquisition efforts
        <\/li>
      • As a Level 3, act as a contributing specialist or team leader on single/small work activities; provide guidance to lower -level technical staff on difficult technical issues; serve as a key technical point of contact for assigned activities, working under limited direction of a Technical Manager or more experienced computer scientist/engineer
