Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Network Administrator for a Contract with a client in Raritan, NJ (Remote). The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting large-scale Cloudflare migration and network security modernization initiatives, ensuring secure application delivery, policy optimization, and infrastructure resilience across enterprise environments.
Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Network Administrator Job Responsibilities include:
Support the migration of applications and websites from F5 BIG-IP ASM/Advanced WAF to Cloudflare, including policy migration, DNS cutover planning, validation testing, and deployment readiness activities.
Design, review, and optimize Web Application Firewall (WAF), SSL/TLS, and security policies to ensure secure and resilient application delivery across enterprise environments.
Analyze and enhance perimeter security controls across Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Citrix ADC/NetScaler platforms, including firewall rule reviews, NAT optimization, and access management.
Develop and implement network automation solutions to streamline configuration management, switch provisioning, inventory management, and operational processes.
Support Entra ID security modernization initiatives, including identity governance, privileged access management, and secure access controls.
Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams to troubleshoot issues, improve security posture, and ensure successful delivery of network and cloud security transformation projects.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.
6+ years of experience in Network Security, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Engineering, or Enterprise Security Operations.
Strong hands-on experience with Cloudflare migrations, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), DNS management, SSL/TLS implementation, F5 BIG-IP ASM, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Citrix ADC/NetScaler environments.
Proven expertise in network security hardening, firewall policy management, network automation, Entra ID security initiatives, and supporting large-scale cloud and application security transformation programs across enterprise environments.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
