RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):Assist in documenting, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-performance data center network infrastructureProgressively build expertise through hands-on experience, self-directed learning, mentorship, and training in advanced networking technologies, including Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Equal Cost Multipath (ECMP), Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN), Spine-Leaf architectures, Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation Group (MCLAG), and RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCEv2)Help identify performance trends, capacity constraints, and emerging issues before they impact services or customers; investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive issues to resolutionPartner with experienced engineers to deploy, optimize, and scale network infrastructure supporting AI and other demanding workloadsParticipate in network upgrades, implementations, testing, and operational improvement initiatives REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSMust possess an active DoD TS/SCI with CI Polygraph security clearance.Current Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II certification to satisfy DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) requirementsStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-throughSelf-motivated and effective in fast-paced, continuously evolving technology environments, with enthusiasm to continuously learn new technical skillsAbility to travel up to 20%, domestic and international, to support deployments, installations, maintenance, and operational support PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSFamiliarity with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, Virtual LANs (VLANs), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), and basic network troubleshootingExperience with monitoring, telemetry, observability, alerting, or performance management toolsExposure to Linux systems or Linux-based Network Operating Systems (NOS)*Applicants selected will be United States citizens and may be subject to a government security investigation for access to classified information.*ABOUT USAt MGS, we believe a people-first culture corresponds to organizational success through a commitment to excellence, integrity, inclusion, and an attitude that welcomes challenges meets demands, sustains growth, and drives innovation.
