Description

IDR is seeking a Network Analyst to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. In this role, you will help develop, administer, and support enterprise network systems for a large, fast-paced organization in a regulated, always-on environment. This is a great opportunity to support critical networking initiatives spanning design, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting across modern Cisco-based infrastructure.

Position Overview for the Network Analyst:

  • Configure, implement, and maintain enterprise network technologies including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, wireless, and SD-WAN
  • Monitor network health and performance, perform fault/problem management, and drive timely resolution of incidents
  • Support network design, architecture, and topology development, including documentation of standards, policies, and procedures
  • Manage network device inventory and licensing, including reconciliation and periodic audits/self-assessments
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 operational support, including evenings and weekends, with 50%+ travel required

Requirements for the Network Analyst:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with network design, architecture, and topology development, including documenting technical requirements
  • Experience with VPN configuration and secure remote access technologies
  • Proficiency with network monitoring/performance tools (e.g., WhatsUp Gold, MRTG) and network performance analysis
  • Strong TCP/IP protocol analysis skills with proven network troubleshooting experience
