JOB DESCRIPTION

Network Analyst / Network Administrator

Location: White Plains, NY (Hybrid)
Pay rate: $40/hr W2
Duration: 12-Month Contract with possible extension

Open to U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders working independently. No sponsorship or third-party candidates.

Project Overview

Our IT Network Services team is seeking an experienced Network Analyst to support multiple enterprise digitization and infrastructure initiatives throughout 2026. This role will contribute to large-scale network modernization projects, including cloud migration, wireless infrastructure upgrades, communications backbone enhancements, and enterprise network deployments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with network administration, wireless technologies, troubleshooting, monitoring tools, and enterprise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network hardware, software, and infrastructure.
  • Install and repair network cabling, including fiber optic infrastructure.
  • Configure and deploy wireless networking equipment, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), and Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs).
  • Conduct wireless site surveys and analyze survey results to optimize wireless coverage and performance.
  • Coordinate with onsite resources to determine optimal WAP placement and deployment strategies.
  • Support cloud migration activities and enterprise network modernization initiatives.
  • Monitor network performance using enterprise monitoring tools and perform proactive performance tuning.
  • Utilize protocol analyzers and network monitoring software to diagnose network issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Work closely with vendors, network engineers, telecommunications teams, contractors, and end users to resolve network-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, inventories, maintenance activities, and network assets.
  • Develop automation, reporting, and monitoring solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support enterprise network security initiatives and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Perform additional network administration and infrastructure support duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Network Analyst, Network Administrator, Network Engineer, or similar role .
  • Strong understanding of:
    • TCP/IP
    • Routing & Switching
    • LAN/WAN
    • Wireless Networking
    • Firewalls
    • Network Security
  • Experience deploying and supporting:
    • Wireless Access Points (WAP)
    • Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)
    • Fiber Optic Networks
  • Experience conducting wireless site surveys and wireless network optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • SolarWinds
    • OpManager
    • Splunk
    • ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of network security frameworks such as NIST and CIS .
  • Experience supporting cloud networking solutions in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V .
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Certifications

  • CCNP
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner
  • F5 (201/301)
  • Other relevant networking or cloud certifications

Ideal Candidate

  • Hands-on enterprise networking professional with strong wireless networking expertise.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure modernization and cloud migration projects.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across network hardware, wireless technologies, routing, switching, and security.
