Automation Engineer — Network Partner Data Platform
About the Role
Client's global network infrastructure relies on thousands of external partners — internet
service providers (ISPs), colocation facilities, hardware vendors, and managed service
providers. We're building a centralized platform to manage all of these relationships,
contacts, and service data in one place.
What You'll Do
Build Workflow Automation
Design and implement automated workflows for partner onboarding, contact updates,
service renewals, and data lifecycle management
Create self-service tools that allow operations teams to perform bulk data operations
without needing engineering support
Build automated alerting for stale data, missing information, or expiring service
agreements
Develop Data Pipelines & Integrations
Build ETL pipelines that synchronize partner data across multiple internal systems
Automate the migration of legacy data from spreadsheets, wikis, and siloed
databases into the centralized platform
Develop reconciliation scripts to detect discrepancies between systems and maintain
data consistency
Automate Operational Processes
Build tools that auto-retrieve relevant partner contacts during network incidents,
reducing response time
Create automated escalation and outreach workflows triggered by network events
Develop runbook automation to standardize and speed up repetitive operational
tasks
Monitor & Report
Build dashboards tracking data quality, freshness, and platform adoption
Implement automated health checks and audit scripts to detect duplicates, orphaned
records, or incomplete entries
Create scheduled reports for leadership on automation ROI and data integrity metrics
