Akkodis is seeking a Network Automation Engineer for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX/Denver, CO/ Remote. The ideal candidate will drive enterprise network automation initiatives by developing scalable Network as Code solutions and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Rate Range: $57/Hour to $85/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• San Antonio, TX: $57-$85

• Denver, CO: $60-$85

• Remote: $60-$80

Network Automation Engineer Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain Network as Code (NaC) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate network provisioning, configuration, and operational processes.

• Design, build, and support automation frameworks using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and related technologies for enterprise network environments.

• Integrate network automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines, enabling automated testing, deployment, validation, and rollback capabilities.

• Engineer, implement, and troubleshoot complex Cisco-based network infrastructure, including routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and network segmentation.

• Monitor network performance, reliability, and capacity while proactively identifying and resolving infrastructure issues to ensure high availability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reusable infrastructure automation solutions that align with DevOps and enterprise architecture standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 7+ years of Network Engineering experience and 5+ years of hands-on Network Automation experience in enterprise environments.

• Strong experience developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Network as Code (NaC) solutions using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and related automation tools.

• Proven experience integrating automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines and leveraging Git-based workflows within a DevOps environment.

Pay Details: $57.00 to $85.00 per hour
