Five Rivers Analytics is looking for a Network Cabling Technician that is available and willing to accept a 1+ year temporary assignment in Boston, MA. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

The Network Cabling Technician (1+ Year Temporary Hire) will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a variety of wired systems across our organization. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge to include a variety of Networking technologies, including Fiber Optic Cable Testing, Copper Wire replacement, VoIP and legacy phone systems.

Responsibilities

+ Available for a long-term temporary role (1+ year) with potential for full-time hire.

+ Designs and installs well-functioning computer networks, connections and cabling.

+ Performs troubleshooting to system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of network.

+ Inspects LAN infrastructure and fixes minor or major issues.

+ Evaluates network performance and find ways of improvement for wired cable infrastructure.

+ Organizes and schedules upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their own work.

Qualifications

+ High School diploma/GED.

+ Minimum Interim Secret is required.

+ Experience working with LAN cable replacement and troubleshooting.

+ COMPTIA Security+CE (IAT-Level II) certification or COMPTIA NET+ Certification.

+ Great attitude and strong communication skills.

Desired Qualification:

+ Active Secret Level Clearance.
