Network Configuration Analyst
Must be able to work 100% onsite in Huntsville, AL
3+ years of relevant IT experience specializing in networking technologies
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco switches and routers
Experience monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting complex enterprise networks
Working knowledge of web applications, web servers, application load balancers, and storage systems
Knowledge of network and security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Access Control Lists (ACLs)
Experience using enterprise network monitoring platforms and tools
Understanding of network configuration, performance monitoring, and network compliance
Scripting/coding experience with Python, Go, Perl, Bash, or similar languages for network automation
Knowledge and experience configuring and monitoring cryptographic devices preferred
Federal Government or Intelligence Community network engineering experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to follow disciplined troubleshooting methodologies
Ability to analyze network performance data and develop technical documentation
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
CCNA or higher certification preferred
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred

DUTIES:
Monitor and analyze complex enterprise network environments supporting multiple security classification levels
Provide technical engineering support for enterprise network infrastructure
Support Network Compliance and Monitoring activities
Perform network configuration and software updates based on engineering strategies and technical directives
Monitor network performance and identify configuration, performance, and availability issues
Provide technical guidance and support to technical leads, network analysts, and customer stakeholders
Use enterprise network monitoring platforms to analyze network performance and health
Analyze and document performance information for network devices and infrastructure components
Support Cisco switches, routers, and related networking technologies
Support network security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Access Control Lists
Develop and utilize scripts to support network automation and operational tasks
Troubleshoot complex network issues and support resolution through completion
Maintain awareness of networking technologies, industry trends, and best practices
Recommend improvements to network systems, configurations, processes, and operations
Create and maintain network documentation and technical information
Provide professional technical support and customer service
