We are seeking a Network Construction Project Manager – Fiber & Small Cell to support planning, coordination, and delivery of network construction projects. This hybrid role involves office-based project management and field-based oversight of construction activities. The successful candidate will coordinate with engineering, permitting, regulatory, operations, and project delivery teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
This role is highly cross-functional, requiring strong organizational, communication, and vendor management skills, as well as a solid background in telecommunications and small cell construction.
Develop and manage construction work packages for vendors.
Coordinate project schedules, vendor activities, and construction timelines.
Resolve construction issues in the field to keep projects on schedule.
Manage purchase orders, process contractor invoices, and support project financials.
Track project milestones and forecasts; escalate critical issues when necessary.
Develop and deliver project progress reports; highlight and resolve variances.
Collaborate with vendors regarding timelines, milestones, safety compliance, and billing.
Maintain and update company tools with project deliverables, closeout packages, and service delivery updates.
Provide administrative support including POs, invoicing, and ad hoc reporting.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, permitting requirements, and design specifications.
Minimum 3 years of telecommunications/wireless construction experience.
Strong knowledge of OSP (Outside Plant) construction techniques (aerial & underground).
Familiarity with small cell construction processes.
Experience managing construction crews and vendors.
Proficiency with fiber construction (bore, trench, aerial, leased duct) and node/power installation.
Understanding of utility location processes (811) and safe subsurface construction practices.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Strong computer skills: MS Office, Excel, SmartSheets.
Familiarity with test equipment and techniques (OTDR, PIM, SWEEP).
Knowledge of construction management processes and budgeting.
Customer service orientation with strong problem-solving skills.
OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
High School diploma required.
Valid driver's license required.

Field (40%): On-site supervision of construction crews; exposure to heavy equipment and outdoor conditions.
Office (60%): Standard office environment for project planning, reporting, and coordination.
