You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network.The position's responsibilities include scaling support of several data center locations, day‑to‑day capacity management, and providing management and support of AWS' vast network infrastructure. You will work closely with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution as directed by Network Leadership and Technical Project Managers.ResponsibilitiesManaging work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projectsCollaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstaclesTroubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cordsSpecifying power and cooling requirements and ensuring hardware racking/stacking for new equipmentParticipating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardwareProviding first‑level networking support for customer racks, tracking rack intake, and working with onsite teams to request rack space, power and coolingAssisting with console builds and room builds to expand capacity for customer racksCollaborating with ID‑Scaling peers to build higher‑level networking devicesTravelYour role requires traveling within and outside the regional work area.
